Remember The Milk tip: new tasks inherit tags
Posted by Matt Thommes on 10/7/2008
Here's a quick tip/reminder for Remember The Milk users.
If you use tags to better sort your tasks, you may also have chosen to display the tag cloud along the right side of the web interface (you can turn this on or off in Settings).

Clicking on a specific tag from the tag cloud will filter your task view to display only tasks containing that tag. All it's really doing is performing the search for you, which you could have also typed in manually:

The nice thing is if you add a new task with your tasks already filtered in this manner, the new task will inherit that tag automatically.
Saves a step, and when it comes to task management, saving steps is what it's all about.
