In a previous article, I described how to burn DVDs with DVD Shrink. Some forms of copy protection found on newer DVDs will cause DVD Shrink to produce some confusing errors, which will prohibit users from ripping discs with DVD Shrink. Errors I have seen include “Cyclic Redundancy Error” or “Invalid DVD navigation structure”.

This article is a tutorial that explains the process of backing up a DVD on a PC using DVD Shrink. While there are many software solutions for backing up DVDs, the one on Windows I like is DVD Shrink. The program I use to burn CDs and DVDs is Nero. This article assumes your computer is already equipped with a burning program. An explanation of DVD Shrink and its features is available in a previous article. DVD Shrink will use Nero for burning if it is detected, but does not require Nero.

The Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000 is by far the nicest keyboard I have ever used [Tech Freaks Review] [PC Magazine Review]. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone that spends a lot of time in front of a computer. Like many others, I noticed the dominant “Zoom” slider button on the front of the keyboard and have wondered why Microsoft did not make this slider customizable through the driver software. It turns out that with a slight modification, the zoom slider can turn into a scroll slider.

Finding high quality streaming music that’s free is not easy. Yahoo! LAUNCHcast (or simply Yahoo! Music) is far and away better than anything else I’ve ever used.
Yahoo! Music has solved many of the problems experienced when using most Internet Radio Stations (IRS), and lessened many others. This article will discuss the benefits of Yahoo! Music, and how it has surpassed other IRS.

Gmail allows users to set up custom “From:” addresses, for outgoing email.
If you’re not using Gmail, you’re missing out on a great feature, which helps manage multiple email accounts, all in one spot.
This means that you can manage all of your external email accounts from within Gmail. And with Gmail’s generous storage space, you probably won’t run out of room anytime soon.
After you set-up your external email accounts to work with Gmail, you’re able to select which “From:” address you’d like to use, for each outgoing email message.
You can include as many as you’d like.

Adobe Photoshop is an extremely powerful photo-manipulation software for photographers, web professionals, and just about anyone looking for high-end photo-editing capabilities.
I recently upgraded from Photoshop CS, to Photoshop CS2, on Mac OS X - and what follows is a brief explanation of how I transferred many of my saved settings and preferences from CS, and carried them over to CS2. This saved me a lot of time.

The Camino Browser is a alternate browser for OS X built on the same technology as Firefox, however it uses the native OS X interface and has attractive icons and menus, to really give it an “OS X feel.” The idea is to take the stability and performance of Firefox, but capture the attractiveness of Safari and other native OS X applications.
